DO I NEED TO HAVE MY WRITTEN TESTS DONE FIRST?
Yes, The first step to getting your CDL is to take the written test and obtain your CDL permit. The test can be taken at your local drivers license station. Study booklets are free at those locations or can be found on most States websites. After you have your permit call Capital CDL Training Inc. (573-353-2853) and we will do the rest!!
HOW CAN I GET A CDL IN 24 HOURS?
Since you already have your CDL Permit when you schedule with us, That takes away 14 days that you would usually spend in the classroom in a traditional School. With Capital CDL Training Inc. We would train you in the morning, then take you to take your Skills Test that same afternoon.
I DO NOT LIVE IN TENNESSEE OR MISSOURI, CAN I TAKE THE TEST THERE?
Tennessee, No, Not Currently. Missouri, Yes, as long as your home state uses CSTIM (Most States Do)– If you are out of state you can still take your written test in the state where you live and do the driving test in Missouri. Missouri utilizes The Commercial Skills Test Information Management System (CSTIMS), which will transfer your Skills Test results to your home state. So you can be issued a CDL in your home state. You will need a certified birth certificate or passport if you are testing with an out of state permit.
CAN TWO PEOPLE TAKE THEIR TRAINING TOGETHER?
Yes, our skilled Trainers are able to train 2 people together and BOTH can test that same afternoon.
DO I HAVE TO HAVE MY MEDICAL CARD BEFORE I COME TO YOU?
Technically, No. You are not required to have your DOT Medical Card to take your Skills Test. However, you are required to have it before you can be issued your CDL. We always suggest to have your Medical Card though, there may be something in your physical that would prevent you from being able to get your CDL, and wouldn’t want you to waste your time and money for something you can’t get.
CAN YOU HELP ME GET A RESTRICTION OFF OF MY CURRENT CDL?
Yes, we can help with most restrictions, give us a call to see what we can do to help.
